1st post of the year..

8th January 2006
The new year has already started more than a week. New year, new resolution and new me. Alright... quite a fair bit of events took place dated back from Christmas Eve 2005, while I am back in Sg till today.

Well, Christmas eve is a significant date in the Catholic calendar as we prepare ourselves to welcome the Son of God. Of course, the best place to be at is in church.. so, dear and his family and me went to church.. Mich went together too.. well.. think that I didn't explain much to Mich as I am also still learning about it.. sorry to Mich for not explaining much.. =)

Since I am talking about Christmas, I remembered something that was being taught in one of my RCIA session back then at Christ the King (before I leave Sg), Christmas is the day of celebration of the birth of Christ, but according to the bible, although we do not know the exact date of birth of Christ, but He is definitely not born on the 25th of Dec. Infact, according to the season described in the bible, the estimated birthdate of Christ is somewhere in Feb or March, and the celebration on the 25th of December is to replace another celebration (of don't know what event, which I can't remember). But that doesn't make 25th Dec a day that we should forget, although it isn't the real birthday of Christ, but it reminds us Christians of our faith. Its like, since we do not know His exact birthday, setting a date for people to celebrate and remember His birth makes Christmas day (25th Dec) a day, still, worthwhile for us to celebrate. That's what I think.. what say you??

Moving away from Christmas day, on the 28th, 5 of us set off from the train station to Kajang.. for me and dear, its a journey back to 'home', but for my 3 friends (Lyn, Mich & Mun) its a trip to relax and enjoy before the year closes its chapter. We arrived back in Kajang on early morning of 29th Dec 05, well, we went to eat breakfast, which I ordered too much bread (sorry to stuff you guys up with bread in the early morning). then we went to Genting Highlands (again, sorry for the rush and short stay up there). At least we had a not too bad lunch, thanks to dear.. we visited Petaling street that night, but due to Lyn's unlucky charm, the street was being raid and by the time we finish dinner, the street is as good as empty.. heh.. the next 2 days till the last day of the year was a shopping craze for the 4 girls.. we went Times square and Mid valley.. Think Lyn and Mun is the ultimate winner for the shopping and they went back with good harvest.. haha.. Thanks for the fun and jokes girls.. The asshole games was funny.. guess all of us had a good laugh.. and the last day of the year marks the departure of my 3 friends.. (thanks for the time here.. )

Then we count down to the new year (at home with dear and du and the TV) haha.. there was outside our house, but we can only hear.. can't locate it though.. so we stick on to the TV fireworks.. cool.. Happy New Year everyone.. (making it up for not saying on the 1st of Jan)

2nd of Jan 2006... A day of celebration and enjoyment.. happy moments and sweet memories.. All that I have mentioned happened not in Kajang.. but in Sg TPY Sizzler.. well, I wasn't there, but it is a very special day.. a day that my dear friend received her 'key to freedom'. the number 21.. Happie 21st Lyn.. although I am not there. but my wishes were.. All the best for the coming years.. *hugz*

The following day was a new beginning at the environment with new faces, and cold air conditioning.. the start of my determined path towards the completion of ACCA.. the class was small.. not like the 20 of us class back in the SW days.. paper 1.2 on financial information for management. the next 2 days of classes was also cold.. and the class for 2.1 changed from 9am to 10am without telling the students.. so the whole class waited like diots.. haha.. i was reading my story book (Angels and Demons by Dan Brown) though.. I enjoyed the wait while indulging myself in the progress of the book.. My 3 days of classes went on considerably smooth..

From Friday till today, I enjoyed the break.. during the 3 days, I did some washing, packing, stocking up food and drinks at home, bought a Abercrombie GREEN color collar tee (thanks dear dear for it), had big breakfast with dear at McDonald's this morning, went market this morning with dear to buy fruits (we bought RM23 worth of fruits) and we got to see the making process of 'Putu Mayam' by hand (coolz), had Indian food continuously for 4 days in a row, went to play one round of Daytona at the arcade, stock up paper, chasing after a crocoach with Baygon in the kitchen at night (ended up the crocoach escaped through the windows pane), and now, blogging for the past one week + of events and fun and memories and journey of my life... all these (and for the past 3 years + ) happened with someone sharing its with me, and is the most wonderful part of my life.. thanks lots dear, aka sheep, aka terror, aka pooh...

Now.. it is story sharing time (don't mind my long post).. I finished reading Angels and Demons by Dan Brown last night.. and I really feel like sharing my comments.. Its really nice.. full of twist and turns, exciting and unexpected.. but ultimately, it makes me feel that the most important thing is then intention, but that doesn't mean that you should do bad to fulfill the good. And without knowing the truth at first, with the effect of the conspiracy was really good and it somehow ended realizing it isn't right, but it has already create a good impact of lots of people. If the truth is being revealed, it will hurt everyone and the outcome will be beyond imagination. There are few who knows the truth, but knowing the truth and not revealing it doesn't matter anymore. The 'bad' guy killed himself ending the conspiracy, leaving those who do not know the truth growing stronger and better, and to those who knows the truth 'relieved' as they do not know what they can should do to him. Its all about weighing the impact, but that depends on personal views and balancing the thoughts. The story is contain facts and make-up events, it makes me a little blur on what is real and what is not, but end of the day, I feel that I will treat it as a story as assuming things that are real when they are not isn't too good. I accepted the ugly be it true or not about the old Catholic church, as times back then was different and there isn't right or wrong. Maybe the approach is not good enough but its was the past maybe even before civilisation and stuff.. nothing to argue about. I am not a good story teller from what I see that I have typed.. haha.. So.. read the book (with open heart).. good book... !!
